Georges A. Hatem is the Founder and Managing Director of CDS.

For over 15 years, he has been leading / managing management consulting assignments for market leaders in a variety of sectors and countries; these assignments cover vision engineering, strategy definition and deployment, and change management.

Before he returned to Lebanon to create CDS in 1994, Mr. Hatem lived in Europe. In 1988, he obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. Following his MBA, he worked as a management consultant in a leading global strategy firm (the MAC Group, now Gemini Consulting) where he participated in strategy definition, reorganization, and operations improvement projects for large US, European, and Middle Eastern companies. These assignments were in financial services, telecommunications, industry, insurance, and distribution.

Prior to his MBA, Mr. Hatem lived in the United States of America. He graduated from Stanford University in California, where he obtained a Masters degree in 1983 and an Engineer’s degree in 1985. He then worked in San Francisco at Morrisson Knudsen Engineers, where as a Design Engineer, he conducted several risk analysis and decision making studies for large civil works in the US and Latin America.
